Caring For Your Latex MattressUpdated 3 days ago

Protect Your Mattress

The first line of defense to keep your mattress clean is a removable, washable mattress protector. A mattress protector made of organic cotton or wool will help to keep your sleep system breathable, while also offering protection. Have a look here: Resthouse Mattress Protectors

Remember, your zippered organic cotton/wool mattress encasement is not machine washable, as it will shrink. Spot-clean the encasement as needed with gentle soap and cold water, then let it air dry.  Cover the encasement with your removable protector.

Support Your Mattress

Latex mattresses do a great job of supporting us, and in turn, they need proper support too. Their needs are fairly standard, so don't worry about complicated setups.

Place your mattress on a slatted frame or foundation, with slats between 1.5" -  3" apart. For any Full/Double, Queen, King and Cal King mattresses, make sure your frame has a center T bar support rail.

Flip and Rotate Your Layers

Flipping and rotating your mattress's inner layers every 3-6 months helps to keep their integrity strong for increased longevity.
